look at the doorstep of your house there sits the dung heap of life
turn not away from the sight disdain not the scent
look, laugh, inhale deeply- dance for the possibilities you'd never before seen
one look can make the world a garden of fresh flowers
the Gardner has wisdom fools perceive not
the Gifts of the Beloved almost always come disguised
the resurrections of today and tomorrow lie in the graves of yesterday
there are whispers no ears can hear
a golden ring lies waiting at the bottom of a garbage dump
if you can't discover God here, now, why speak of a heaven elsewhere?
sit at your door, friend of the Friend, and welcome the world to your house
a leaf settles on the ground a myriad of hearts find rest there
